THE ACTIVIST



The Activist is a magazine dedicated to celebrating women and non-binary people in politics, protest, and activism. Positioned as a space for rebels who see a problem in the world and fight to change it, the magazine's core purpose is to empower and champion those at the forefront of social change.

The publication was brought to life through a collaborative effort. Esteemed journalist Esther Newman served as the author and editor for the majority of the content, which was supplemented by a roster of guest writers. As a solo project, the entire visual identity and layout were designed to create a bold, impactful aesthetic that visually communicates the magazine's rebellious spirit and powerful message.
